Thanks to the modern technological age, we seemingly have the opportunity to listen to every new album, or at least a large number, prior to their release date. This week we have some truly great full album streams of a few forthcoming albums.
Ryan Adams is set to release Ashes & Fire on October 11, and thanks to the fine folks at NPR, the album is available to stream in its entirety.
Likewise, NPR is offering up DJ Shadow’s new album The Less You Know the Bettter due out on October 4.

Finally, Damon Albarn (one of the brains behind Blur and Gorillaz) led a collective of musicians into the Democratic Republic of Congo to record a collaborative album with musicians from the DRC. The album is available to stream in its entirety thanks to Hype Machine.
